Key City Rotary’s Second Annual Low Key Fest Brings the Community Together
Life is busy. Life is hectic. Sometimes, you just need a minute to kick back and unwind.
On June 13, 2025, the Carroll Creek Amphitheater came alive with music, laughter, and community spirit as Key City Rotary hosted its second annual Low Key Fest. What began as a simple idea to bring people together is quickly becoming one of Frederick’s favorite summer traditions.
This year’s event was all about good vibes and great music. The talented local band A Cute Triangle set the tone for the evening with an incredible performance that had everyone smiling and swaying along. Friends, families, and neighbors gathered along the creek, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly matched the festival’s name.
Low Key Fest isn’t just about music—it’s about connection. It’s about creating a space where people can unwind, share stories, and support the work Key City Rotary does throughout the year. From service projects to social events, the club’s mission is rooted in building a stronger, more vibrant community, and this event is a shining example of that commitment.
The success of this year’s festival is thanks to the incredible energy everyone brought to the creek. It was a celebration of summer, of friendship, and of what happens when people come together for a good cause.
If you missed it this time, make sure to mark your calendar for next year. Low Key Fest is here to stay—and it’s only getting better.
